In general, if you’re a salaried employee, your available balance updates at 4.30pm Sydney/Melbourne time and if you work shifts, it should update at 9.30am and 9.30pm Sydney/Melbourne time.
However, your balance may not update at these times every now and then. There are a few reasons why this might be the case.
Reason 1: Your employer’s payroll system needs to be up-to-date
We rely on information from your payroll team to show your estimated earnings in the app. This means that if your employer hasn’t updated information about your earnings in their system, we won’t know about it either. If your earnings (as shown in the app) don’t look accurate, let us know ASAP and we’ll help sort it out.
Reason 2: Any changes to your role or pay can take time to get to us
There may be information missing about your leave or other entitlements. If you change roles or departments, it can occasionally take some time for us to receive this information from your company’s payroll system.
Reason 3: Forgetting to clock on or off shifts can impact the data
Remember that forgetting to clock on and/or off work can impact the information your payroll team has about your pay, which can limit what we show in your app.
